Comfort in times like these

Well today I had to go to the eye surgery clinic, because my 10 month old granddaughter had to have eye surgery. You know when people find out that a loved one has to have some type of surgery, You can become over whelmed with fear. Then you stop and realize that you are not in this alone and that the Lord said he would never leave you not forsake you. I watched those people as they came and went, and some that were there waithing like us while there loved ones were having surgery, some sit quietly, some over whelmed with fear and some not knowing what to do at all. As we sit waiting my daughter was listening to her preaching sermons and study her bible and this thought came to my mind. You know how can these people who do not know the Lord cope with lifes difficulties and troubles. This is when we draw on the comfort of the Lord. The Lord says in psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepard. The sheperd guides and protects his sheep at all cost. Reguardless of the circumstances or threat to himself. He counts no cost to high for the protection of his own. Reguardless of status or background he protects. Reguardless of deserving or underserving he protects. Deut 4:31 (for the Lord thy God is a merciful God) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee.... In Heb 13:5 Isn't it wonderful to know reguardless of what we are facing the Lord is right there with us, according to the word of God. Like we talked about in the beginning of this post, He (God) protects and is ther with us reguardless if we deserve it or not. Isn't it wonderful to know according to the word of God none of us deserve Gods goodness. The word of God says Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. See we dont meet up to Gods standard of holiness, we never can or could. Isn't it wonderful to know because we sin and miss the mark and will miss the mark. God still loves us so much that he made a plan. A plan that would make us accepted with him reguardless of who we are or what we have done. We understand that we will never meet up to Gods standard of holiness, but in his (Gods) plan he sent someone who could. His name is Jesus, Gods only son. In John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. In John 1:14 The word became flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his (Jesus Christ) glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus came for one reason, and one reason only, it was to put us back in sweet fellowship with God. To pay a debt we would not pay. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Isn't it wonderful to know because of Jesus Christ and his blood that was shed at calvary, we are able to enter into heaven because of what Jesus Christ has done, for you and for me. Rev 1:5 in the last part of the verse it says, To him that loves us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Isn't it wounderful to know Christ paid the debt, and now we stand before God with a clean slate. We can enter in because of Christ. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strenght a very present help in trouble. Through sickness, surgeries, and lifes difficulties even unto death. Isn't it wonderful to know reguardless of circumctances the Lord is ther. He will be your strenght in your time of need. Lean on the Lord for he cares for you. May the Lord bless and keep you all.

What is time?

Tonight I was awaken, and I ask the Lord, is there someone I need to be praying for? In that sweet small voice the Lords speaks to my heart and says everyone. Then this thought came to my mind. What is time? How important is it truly. You know I work retail and we are around alot of people everyday. All walks of life and all kinds of personalities. I watch them come ago and I wonder do they know how small of amount of time they have on this earth and do they even care. Do they consider why they were given this amount of time on earth and what is it they are suposed to do with the time line that we have been given called life. Then the Lords starts to flood my mind with scriptures, James 4:14 ,Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is you life ? It is but a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. what a sobering thought. So with this small span of time, your life that God calls a vapour, what should we and others be doing with it? You know Lord tells in the scriptures that In Deut 30:15, See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. You know the Lord wants us to choose life. In Deut 30:20 the Lord says I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, ---Looks like according to the scriptures we are making our on video, oh my, lets hope that we would keep that ever in our minds daily. Make sure your movie is a movie that you dont mind seeing again later, back to the verse.. that I have set before you (each and everyone of us) life and death, blessings and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. So see it is very important how we live because it effects others eternally. What a thought. Listen we should always do right for others sake, but never to think that we could merit heaven by our deeds. That was accomplished by Christ and Christ alone. He did not need our help. The bible tells us in Isa 64:6, That our righteousness is as filthy rags, so what does that tell you about our right doings. We can never meet up to Gods standard of holiness. He (christ) was the only one that was perfect and he perfectly put our sins away at calvary, but what is at stake is others. We do right for others sake so that they may see Christ. so we know that we are only hear for awhile and that we should help others to see Christ. Listen your priority before you came to the knowledge of the truth, was to seek the lord with all your heart, study the word to be fully furnished. Once your know that Christ is your saviour the your responsibilities change to family first then others. Our time line is to seek God first for salvation and then others to help them see the truth for themselves. We know we have to work and do someother things, but our whole goal in life is to know the Lord and to know that we are going to heaven when we die. When we study the scriptures we find out everything we need to know. Its our owners manual. Guiding us through this life and the life to come. Time slips away so fast. Have you or I done what we need to do today, so that someoneles may go to heaven too. Its hard dealing with life, but the Lord says he will never leave us nor forsake us. We are in a win win situation. So time is to seek and others. Not to work to be rich, nor waste it away with anything that keeps us away from God.

Forgiven, and what does it mean for you?

Forgiven: To give up resentment against or desire to punish; pardon, to cancel a debt. We all have a desire to know that everything is ok, and that we are going to heaven when we die. The Bible says as it is appointed unto man once to die,....Heb 9:27. Somewhere inside ourselves we fear this thing called death. Because of this fear it drives us to look for answers. The only place to find the answers to what we are looking for is in the word of God. I beg you dear friend to consider what God says and not what man. Their is away that seemth right unto a man and the end there of is destruction. Prov. 14:12. We have a problem, this problem is called sin. Because of this sin we owe a debt, Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death,...... (that death is total separation from God in hell forever) According to the word of God we all owe this debt, Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. To be able to go to heaven, the sin debt must be paid. So God himself became flesh, so he could pay the sin debt for the whole world. John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. John 1:14 And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, this is Christ my dear friend. The reason God came in the flesh is to pay the sin debt we all owe. Heb 9:26 For then must he (Christ) often have suffered since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world hath he (Christ) appeared to put away sin by th sacrifice of himself. Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath (already has) laid on him the iniquity of us all. Rev 1:5 And Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth unto him (Christ) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Now that the sin debt is paid, according to the scriptures, we are made fit for heaven, welcomed because of Christ never to b charged again. Thank God. We have been soley forgiven because of Christ and Christ alone. Because of what he did for us at calvary God wrote us a love letter, this letter is called the Bible, letting us know that everything is alright and that the sin debt has been paid and when we die we can come to heaven to be with him, free of charge to us. Christ paid the debt that we could not pay. So my dear friend please read this wonderful letter God has sent just for you to let you know that he loves you and you are forgiven, ready for heaven, because of Christ finished work at calvary. Heb 10:14 For by one offering He (Christ) hath (already has) perfected forever then that are sanctified (forgiven). How are we sanctified(forgiven)? Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified (forgiven) through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for ALL. May the Lord bless and lead you.
